Spring Carnival at Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre
Join Guide Dogs Queensland for a fun, family-friendly day at the Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre Spring Carnival!
The Spring Carnival is a free community event with plenty happening throughout the day for the whole family, including a Guide Dogs Volunteer Services pop-up!

Location: Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre, 865 Gympie Road, Lawnton
The role:
You'll help us create a welcoming Guide Dogs Queensland presence at the event and engage with families and other members of the local community.
Your responsibilities on the day will include:
- Greeting and welcoming community members
- Handing out Guide Dogs Queensland flyers and information
- Helping with our family activities, including our Name a Puppy activity and colouring-in
- Chatting with visitors and encouraging them to get involved
What you'll need:
A current Blue Card is required for this shift.
Families with children 12+ are welcome to volunteer together. No experience is necessary, and first-time volunteers are very welcome! We'll provide all the information and support you need on the day.
Parking is available onsite.
