2026 Christmas Gift-Wrapping - EOIs

The Christmas count down has started and we are looking for expressions of interest from volunteers to spread holiday cheer with Guide Dogs Queensland at our 2026 gift-wrapping stalls!

You'll help wrap gifts for shoppers in exchange for a donation to Guide Dogs Queensland, chat with members of the community and help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere at our stand.

What's involved?

• Wrapping gifts for shoppers (no expert skills required!)
• Chatting with members of the community
• Accepting cash and EFTPOS donations
• Helping keep our wrapping station tidy, stocked and ready for the next gift!

A few things to know:

• Volunteers must be aged 12+ (and attend with a parent or guardian if under 16)
• You'll need to be comfortable chatting with shoppers and handling cash and EFTPOS

Don't worry - we aren't looking for any expert gift-wrappers. Whether you are a seasoned pro, a first-time volunteer, or simply want to join your family and friends for some festive fun, please register your interest and we will be in touch when shifts become available!
