We're looking for existing Guide Dogs Queensland volunteers to support our Community Fundraising team with a range of administration and community engagement tasks.

This role is based at our Bald Hills campus. We're looking for volunteers who are ideally available for one shift per week of around 3 to 4 hours. Days and times are flexible and can be discussed to suit you.

What you'll be doing:

Calls to volunteers

  • Contacting volunteers to check availability for upcoming shifts
  • Following up with volunteers to confirm or discuss shift details

Calls to supporters and community contacts

  • Reaching out to supporters and community contacts on behalf of Guide Dogs Queensland, including event invitations, thank-you calls and campaign follow-ups
  • Contacting community organisations regarding upcoming community engagement activities

Administration

  • Sending follow-up emails or correspondence on behalf of the team
  • Supporting the preparation of supporter mail-outs
  • Assisting with event coordination and volunteer administration tasks as required

What we're looking for:

You don't need prior experience in fundraising or community engagement — just a willingness to help and the following:
